What makes solid wood furniture so distinctive is the fact that the history of its use can be read in its surfaces. Each  mark, dent and stain makes them individual, and thereby, special. The functional surfaces of this table are made from wood to allow for the leaving of traces. If this is not desired, the top and foot rest can be renewed by sanding. The size of the table can easily accommodate 8 to 12 people. The frame is constructed from steel, with the legs arranged in such a way so as not to disturb the leg room of those seated. The side of the table top is chamfered to avoid catching an edge when leaning against it. This is a table for generations of good eating.
